Shelley Morkovsky is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She focuses her practice on real estate and finance law, including the preparation and negotiation of documents for conventional lending transactions, construction loan transactions, SBA loan transactions, leases, and real estate acquisitions/sales.
Shelley earned her juris doctorate degree cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1999, having been named to the Houston Law Review and the Order of the Barons. She established the Morkovsky Law Firm in 2012, after practicing for several years under exceptional mentors in commercial real estate law. Shelley is a member of the State Bar of Texas, as well as its Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section. She is a past president of CREW-San Antonio (commercial real estate women) and a recipient of its prestigious Eva Rosow Award.
Shelley and her husband Russell have been married for over 30 years and have three adult children. For fun, she enjoys saltwater fishing on the Texas coast.
